This is a showcase of how to kill 100 Gromflomites in a single session of the shootout. The glitch where you hind behind the rocks or even beneath the actual ground isn't working anymore. The only thing that still helps is to play the story mission, because as long as Rick is still around, they will shoot at him and his ship. This gets you dozens of safe kills before the Gromflomites concentrate on you. But then, a lot of them appear instantly and they are very aggressive. I tried to do this on Free Play, but I never could do more than 87. And I tried for hours. Doing it in the mission has the disadvantage of always awaiting two loading screens and some dialogue, but I eventually got it on my third try, when I switched to only play this in the story. You will have to practice, and always shoot them in order of appearance, because they take some time to charge their weapon's beam. Some luck is also involved, because one hit and you're out. And you will soon absolutely hate the purgatory, although it's pretty funny the first few times. But I made the observation that they don't hit you most of the time if you shoot in the basic direction of the one who is shooting. What I'm saying is, even if you miss and one shoots at you, as long as you aimed at him and almost hit him, he will probably miss. And if one shoots at you and misses, don't concentrate on him, because he will have to charge his weapon again. Go for the other ones who already are able to shoot. And yeah, on this run I was so good the game even lagged in the end...then I died. But I managed to kill 108 in this run.
